x86 compiled AddIn with SE 64bit

Hi

I have written an AddIn for SE. Its working fine, I have compiled it as AnyCPU for 32 bit Systems and x64 for the 64 bit Version of SE. But now I'm using an external Dll (where I don't have the code) but this is x86 only. So I also have to compile the AddIn as x86. On a 32 bit system its not the problem.

But can I also run a x86 compiled AddIn on a 64 bit SE.

With a little trick in the registry a got the AddIn in the AddIn manager. But the AddIn does not work.

Is there a way to get it work.

ftree,

no, Solid Edge 64 bit requires 64 bit Add-In DLLs. An Add-In runs in process sharing memory address space of the main application.
