Can anyone explain me how i can do it?

How do I have to generate the Excel file? Where should I save it?

Best regards,

Hi @xeniaturon

the question here is, what will You add into Your standard parts library and what do You already have as date for input.

There are several way for adding new parts (user defined parts) into the standard part database.

For all methods I first would suggest to look into the help pages for the Standard Parts Database and Add to Database chapter.

I as long as I have worked with Solid Edge had the need for adding a part via excel sheet

But from the help pages I can see, that You need a part, and an excel sheet with appropriate values and You have to have it opend already.

My opinion is, that for single part or less variants, a normal part or a family of parts is the easier way to achieve it.

Depending on, what data and how many different types You have to import into the DB
