Adding a body to a part with a part

Is there a way to add a body to a part by somehow inserting another part?

It would be similar to making an assembly of the two parts and then insert part copying (IPC) them into a new part.

I would like that result but without losing PMI info of the "base" part at least (dimensions mostly) which occurs with IPC.

My Friend,

Don't worry, you can do what you want by .jt file. JT file could contain PMIs and you could use it to IPC. Of course you have to be in synch, because the model is editable in this case! Smiley Wink
