Mine works fine with MP7. Did you measure the distance and all and set the right things?
I use adjustable parts occasionally and they seem to work.
Maybe you could upload the part?
809020283-C.par is the adjustable part
809020283.asm is the adjustable asm that contain the adjustable part
if you move\rotate 809020283-A.par and 809020283-B.par together you will notice that 809020283-C.par will adjust as expeceted
Test.Asm contain 809020283.asm marked as adjustable
809020283-A.par and 809020283-B.par are relationed in the destiantion position
Note that 809020283-C.par doesn't adjust as expected.
I'm pretty sure this was working in ST7, unfortunately I can't test it anymore due to file update and switch to ST8.
I know it's an "extreme" use of the adjustable thing but hey I wont be limited by the software specially when I was not in previous version. :-)
I don't really understand what you intend and how you change the assembly.
Also, I don't see the variable "update" in 809020283-C driving anything.
809020283.asm is a differential pressure transmitter and it is a commercial component.
809020283-C.par is a "flexible" copper tube, in this way you can position 809020283-A where you need.
In test.asm you have 2 "base part.par" that simulates the 2 point where we want to read the differential pressure.
So you make 809020283.asm adjustable and place 809020283.par in the high pressure point and 809020283-A.par in the low pressure point; then you notice that 809020283-C.par doesn't adjust as expected.
If you open 809020283.asm alone and move 809020283-A.par you will notice that 809020283-C.par adjust correctly.
update variable doesn't change anything, it is just needed to keep the part adjustable.
Maybe I found the solution.
I need to connect the "update" variable to something in the adjustable part to fire a correct update of the adjustable part.
So i have added a formula like 20+(update*0) that in fact does nothing but force update the adjustable part.
Thanks Bruce you have made me think about the workaround to force update.
So does it work now? I pointed out the variable "update" because it has to "do something" since it's defined as the adjustable part driving variable.
Edit: I still don't get how you change the assembly but if it works, it works.
