Angled Planes Created From Base Plane

Confused...  Could someone explain how to create an angled plane based on a base plane that's not rotated 90°?  Not sure what I'm missing.  See below...

Thanks,

Matt

Re: Angled Planes Created From Base Plane

This is one of those things that you really need to follow the status bar for....

In ordered mode I never got good at doing this... though after a few trial and errors and slowing down to follow the status bar dirictives I could get what was needed...

I suggest using sync for planes manipulation...  it is just simply so easy it's like cheating...

if you can use sync for your plane creation i suggest doing so...

Re: Angled Planes Created From Base Plane

I've always wondered about this too. Oddly if you select the top plane first it keeps the same orientation. Other planes flip 90 for whatever reason. I've always just lived with it. Now using synchronous, which doesn't show that orientation rectangle, I don't concern myself with it.
