Hi there @balaji1991,

I guess the answer is, yes,....albeit, you do need a certain amount of skill to achieve it.

See this post fo more info & a video.... https://community.plm.automation.siemens.com/t5/Solid-Edge-Blog/New-Video-from-Art-Patrick/ba-p/3039...

TY @SeanCresswell for your reply.

I tried googling quite a bit but couldnt find anything.

In solidworks it seems quite easy to do.(videos are available on  how it can be done. It uses a mate controller tool)

I have seen this video by art patrick before aswell but i have  no clue to how to achieve it.

Thanks,

Balaji

Hi,

the first steps to reach that goal will be to set up motors!

You can use variable motors if using ST8 or standard linear and one rotional.

Thanks @hawcad for your help.

Yes sir i am using ST8

Yes i am aware i can use linear/rotational motor to start with.

But i dont know how to transfer the objected picked from one place to be placed exactly at the centre of a hole and if u observe the servo motors move accordingly aswell.

Thanks @kjoiner for your reply.

I hope Art Patrick dosent wait upto SEU to show how it can be done Smiley Tongue

Thanks,
