Around cylinder - Help

Good morning.
I'm starting me in Solid Edge and of course do not know almost nothing about how, even though I get some things done.
I intended to put a "embraced" rectangle into a cylinder.
I've tried with the projection, but as the rectangle is wider than the cylinder does not.
Someone can help me?

Best regards,
Pakito

Re: Around cylinder - Help

I'm confused, do you have a picture of what you're trying to do?

Are you trying to get a rectangle to go around a cyclinder? That could be done by revolving a rectangle around the axis of the cylinder...

Re: Around cylinder - Help

Como posso fazer esta rotação e colocar esse retângulo ligada ao cilindro?

Re: Around cylinder - Help

How can I make this rotation and put this rectangle attached to the cylinder?

Re: Around cylinder - Help

It might be best to use the help function whithin SolidEdge and follow the tutorial on "Revolve"

Re: Around cylinder - Help

Example: How do I wrap this on the cylinder?

Re: Around cylinder - Help

That's not a cilinder.

Re: Around cylinder - Help

Yes, but anyway what they wanted was to involve the image of that form

Re: Around cylinder - Help

I tested it:

It worked, but not "behind the corner".

The problem in your drawing is, I think, you are projecting on a surface, not a solid.

But, I don't think you can wrap an image.
