I want to Import an Assembly JT into a .par Template.
But unfortenately the result is an teselated Body feature...
In my opinion i should get an multibody Part with two Volume bodys...
What am i doing wrong?
The funny thing is, if i open this jt with an .asm template i get an .ASM with two parts and they are correct as expected.
I also tried some settings in the SePvTrn.ini, "Import Multiple Bodies As Single Part file=On" but for me there was no change in the results...

could it be, that You only exported a rough (triangle) JT file instead of a fine (B-Spline) .
That could explain the teselated body.
There is an option in the export steps to define the quality of export.
yes i know that options, i used the settings ses screenshot (iclude precise geometry)

OK, it seems, that the JT is a fine geometry rather then a coarse.
Importing the JT file into an assembly creates a parts structure which also could be modified.
At the moment I only see a way to import the asm first and interpart that into a part document.

I also tried this before, it works correct, but i just do not understand this behaviour...
We have implemented the Multibody technique, so why this is not working on JT Import.
i filed an IR, it was an PR and now it is an ER 867196 with the status OPEN
