I don't know if it exists, but I thought I read about it long time ago.
Is it possible when placing parts in an assembly to show the planes? Now I need to do some extra clicks and I thought I could show them when pressing a butting while clicking an the target part.
Somebody who can help?
That's what I do now.
It is OK, but nothing is perfect.
I thought there was a shortcut to press while clicking on the target part that made these 2 clicks obsolete. Am I wrong?
Yes, you can do it from ST8.
SE Application button -> Options -> Assembly:
Keep display after placement or Hide after placement
Thanks, this is already half of the answer.
Now I need the same for the target part also.
Joris, you remeber well but it works only with the FlashFit command.
- Select the FlashFit command
- Select the first face\plane
- Hold down R key
- Select the target part and the planes will be shown
- Release the R key
- Select the target face\plane
wish this "R" key method was available for other relations commands too.
Also wish there was a key to show construnction geometry that I use a lot as reference for 3D relations.
I don't like flash fit, so no luck for me.
