Ok, thanks @EmilyJ .....the lower CPU speed [1.8Ghz] will make processing times a little longer. Does your system have a dedicated graphics card?.......if not, then that could contribute to the issue.
Are all Windows updates done?, and are your graphics drivers the most up to date version??

I have a Nvidia mx110 driver, which I have just seen it's not up to date, so I am updating it now.
maybe a new building of that subassembly will not bring a better result, if one of those parts is corrupt.
So I would hide the parts there, show them one by one and see wether the graphics phenomen comes up again.
