Would like to know is there any Option to control the plane scale?
What I means is, let say I open a part environment and my sketch is very small part like diode or any other semicond parts which is very small. I always faced issue when the first time I draw, I need to zoom in into the plane/base so the scale is smaller.
For me it will be good if I can just straight away draw and define dimension with the plane scale auto follow my sketch dimension.
I provide some image here for fit view without plane showing and fit view with a show plane.
if I have understand You correctly, I would suggest to go into the options of SE, change the size for the Reference PLnes according to You part size and save this part now as new template for YOu.
From now on You ever will start with an appropriate plane size on Your start scrren.
Attention: You have to do this in every 3D template (par, psm, asm)
You also can use the Dynamic Edit of the Reference Planes to resize them accrodingly to the part size
Problem here - as I see it - is, that You have to change every plane manually one after the other.
Therefore You can have different size for any of them too.
what I also should mention is, that - and this is my preferred setting - You can turn off all planes if You like.
I use the coordinate system only as refernce for planes, axis etc.
If my memeory serves me correctly Inventor resizes the base planes according to the part size/extents.
So if you are creating very small parts you won't have the part obscured by relatively large reference planes.
Similarly, if you are modelling very large parts you won't have to go zooming in to find small reference planes
It sounds like this is what @Arisy is requiring.
I can see that this could be a good thing, but could also have its bad points if you just happen to use the mid point of the plane as a reference point.

If You have defined the reference palne size small and You have a bigger model (body, then the ref planes size will be adapted to the model size
