(Auto balloon) Numbering multiple draft assembly views without repeating annotations?

Hello all,

Is there a functionality in Solid Edge where you can auto-balloon one view within Solid Edge DFT files, then click on a second view to auto-balloon any parts the first view didn't catch?

My goal here is to remove the manual task of removing repeated annotated parts when creating an assembly drawing.

Thanks

I'm going to say no. There is no control for only ballooning otherwise non-ballooned items.

Hi @User_Error

Hi @bshand

Yes this is no problem.

You simply have to set the BOM options to one position number per draft only!

See video

I have deleted certain item numbers in the first view and get it in the second one.

Nice, @hawcad. Another one of those hidden in plain sight, seldom used items.
