Automating Solid Edge: Accessing Welded Parts of AssemblyFilletWeld Object

Experimenter

Dear Solid Edge-Community:

While trying to automate a procedure via the Solid Edge API using VB.NET I ran into a problem. I can't figure out how to determine which parts are welded together by a fillet weld feature that was created in the assembly document.

Using the intuitive control this is a rather easy task. One just has to select the fillet weld feature in the model tree for the information to be shown.

The fillet weld feature can be accessed via the API through Assembly Document Object -> AssemblyFilletWelds Collection -> AssemblyFilletWeld Object.

Its members are shown here:

https://docs.plm.automation.siemens.com/docs/se/110/api/SolidEdgeAssembly~AssemblyFilletWeld_members...

I deem none of the members suitable to return the required information. What am I missing? Or is this just not possible via the API?

Hello @Woaini521

It seems there are no suitable method/property to access the component parts.

I'd suggest posting this in the Solid Edge Developer Forum for a better reponse.
