Balloon Sizing

Does anyone understand the way Solid Edge draws balloons based off the "height" input?

I realize the "height" is basically a multiple of the text size, however check this against the  triangle, and no dimension seems to fit this basic understanding (most other shapes I can find this dimension applied, and quite often intuitively).  I want to understand this so that drawings produced in other programs can use identical sizing.

Note that I'm sadly still using ST4 if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance.

The triangle is an equilateral triangle with the length of each side equal to 1.5 times the balloon size. Refer the attached image.

The length of triangle side is ~79mm and it is a 1.5 times of the balloon size 53mm. The ratio 1.5 is fixed and cannot be changed. The triangle is placed in such a way that, it will remain intact with the break line. The triangle position is correct and can be verified like: three cores cut by triangle with the circle of balloon size are equal.
