Batch or Auto Update

Is there a Solid Edge feature to automaticaly update on open or maybe batch update draft views instead of opening each individual draft file and manually pressing the update button?

If I remember correctly, Solidworks used to have a batch option that would open, update, and close models and drawing files.

Thanks,

Matt

Look at the OpenSave macro in the C:\Program Files\Solid Edge ST8\Custom\OpenSave\bin folder.

There is an option to open draft files and update views:

Very good idea!

Will work for the visible thin grey frame around the views.

For the problem with the thick corners you will need to have a third party solution.

I know only one solution "SeDftUpdate".

This solution will follow all links and will update them and the views in the draft.

Works interactively but most of the user make use of the batch run. The update process runs in the background or over night.
