it sounds as You have not changed the directory for "Report".txt file form templates in the Solid Edge installation directory to a customized folder.
So if You used the c:\program\Solid Edge\template\reports folder and uninstalled SE from there, I think that the only way to get Your saved callouts is to open old drafts, where they were used and save them again.
But before doing so, change the reports directory to a plate at Your server (as it should be for all of customized files) to keep them for future use.
Custom callouts are usually in Program Files\Solid Edge STX\template\reports\draftcallout.txt but could be anywhere you are pointing to templates. So, if you can retrieve your old draftcallout.txt file you should be able to use it by putting it in your current templat\reports folder.
We have just changed servers and now lost our settings.
As you say the 'Reports' is looking at the wrong location.
How do we change the Reports location?
In the Solid Edge Options we cannot modify the location.
I know about the file locations.
What I am saying is that I cannot change the file location.
How do I get write access to be able to change it?
OK, this is a matter of Your system admin.
If You are not allowed to change this or any other value, then it might be that the Solid Edge Admin Options is in use and they defined a not access right for the users.
So then You have to talk to them to either change this entry too or to allow You changing it Yourselves.
I though I had admin rights, I am able to change some settings like the Solid Edge Admin location.
How can I tell if I do have admin rights?
so then I woul dsuggest to use the SEadmin.exe tool (must be copied extra to the SE folder) to change the settings there.
I must say that I'm also a little bit confused that this value should not be editable by default.
