I have a lot of questions ... ^^
I'm trying to draw cam ..
What I want is to follow the path of the rectangle as if the circle had been swept.
By the way...
A rectangle is strange in shape. I can not express.
How do I do a rectangle like a circular sweep?
Sweep into a circle on the picture above
The figure below is a rectangle sweep.
Rectangular shape is strange.
It does not seem to follow the line like a circle.
We want to implement the following shape.
I used the normal cutout below, but this is not the shape! Taper created.
Can not you implement this shape in a sweep?
What other ways are there?
unfortunately Solid Sweep is not able to create this kind of feature.
There are already existing PRs (8954376 or 8853905) for this functionality.
Thank you for answer.
It is surprising that it can not be relatively simple.
In Gtac, I'd like to prioritize and modify the basic functions.
It's basic ...
the only way to get it as You want it is - at the moment - to use a swept cutout, but with multiple cross sections.
So You can tell SE to "rotate" the same cross section arround the center axis and to keep the cross section area as it should be.
@egarding o the other hint with using an axis for this swept cutout, this should be what we want, but it also doesn't work at them moment.
I knwo that it worked in the past and we could create such features exactly with that option turned on, but anyway it will not do its job at the moment (ST10 MP1)
