Can someone with ST6 or older do a simple test?

To decide a controversy here I need a simple test run on a pre-ST7 setup.

1. In a draft with a view which has non-Draw-in-view entities on it.

2. Do a detail with a circle that is on the view and contains those drawing entities.

3. Do the drawing entities appear in the detail view?

A user here claims that now those drawing entities don't appear. I claim (but don't remember) that they never did and that only DIV entities appear.

Even without this screen-shot there is no way non-Draw-inView entities would appear in a detail view since they do not really are part of the view.

That's what I thought. Thanks, Touche!

Excellent. I hope you are going to be modest in victory. Or maybe I am too late and you are already running round the office whooping. Smiley Happy

Re: Can someone with ST6 or older do a simple test?

We're currently running ST6 MP8.  I created a top view of an existing part file.  Then did a "Draw in View" and added an orange circle.  When I did a detail of that area, the detail DID actually include the circle (see pic).  I even added a line through the circle afterwards, and the detail updated with my addition.  Is that what you wanted verified?

Russ, you have indirectly tested what was sought.

non-DIV entities won't show up in detail while DIV entities should.
