Re: Can't access an embedded excel

After some more digging, I think it is an excel issue.  Apparently, you can  fix a corrupted excel file by navigating to it in the browse window and selecting "Open and Repair".  The only problem is my excel files are embedded in drafts so I cannot navigate to them.  At the moment double clicking on an object in Solid Edge opens the file.  Is there a way to change that to Open and Repair?

Can I also suggest closing SE and Excel; then double-checking in Task Manager that indeed they are both closed.

Then try reopening.  Worked for me anyway...I am still on ST7.
