I need to create a circular pattern or circular array. In other CAD programs this is typically the Rotate Copy command.
If I use the Solid Edge 2D Rotate command (found by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the MOVE command icon) it will only give me one copy of the entities I am trying to turn into a circular pattern. I then have to take those two entities, rotate them into four entities, rotate the four into eight, etc., until the circular pattern is complete. This is painful.
If I use the Solid Edge 2D Circular Pattern command (found by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the MIRROR command icon) all I get are multiple copies of red-outlined fences that make no sense.
You are "almost" there with the circular pattern command....I recommend reading the hints shown in the "Prompt Bar" at the bottom of the screen [if is in the default location]....as from what you show, the very next step is to click "Finish" and your done.
