Cloud generating command for annotations etc... in SE Draft Environment?

Have I overlooked this or is there not a cloud generating command in the draft environment for SE?

If not are there plans for one?

Re: Cloud generating command for annotations etc... in SE Draft Environment?

There is not one in the product. Not sure if there is one being planned. There was a macro somewhere that would would create them. Since it doesn't adhere to any of the drafting standards that I'm aware of, not sure many people actually care about it.

Thanks,
Ken

Ken,

Thanks for the reply.

Although "The Cloud" may not adhere to any standards, it's a commonly used method to highlight important information in the approval process or in shop drawings where certain info needs to be highlighted visually to stand out..... depending of course on what industry the print hails from

My quick & dirty solution is to draw a "cloud" with a series of arcs, then save it in the feature library.

To use it, just drag it onto the draft, where you can scale it or rotate it to suit.

You can save different sizes and shapes if you want to save time later.

I try not to use them unless I must
