Concept Drawing To A Working Product

I am not for sure if this is an appropriate question to ask in solid edge community!

What is involved in having a concept drawing to a working product? What steps are needed?

Thank You

Greg

@PO_LC,

That is a pretty vague question.....it depends on the level of detail the "Concept" design is....but surely, if you want someone else to manufacture something, then you'd need to convey enough detail for to create the parts and/or assemblies.

The alternative, is to find a constractor that can/will work from your "Concept", either as it is, or create their own construction details.

The later, is pretty much how we operate here, with the Streetscape side of the business. Architects put down the general idea [some detrail it more than others] of what they want in their plans, and we turn that into reality, converting it into a design that suits the way we can/want to manufature it.
