Copy part name to clipboard

I have a need to do this in a Solid Edge asm file. All I want to do is simply copy the text name of the highlighted part to the clipboard. Cant find any answer thru searches, Is this possible?

Select the part in pathfinder, press F2 and then CTRL+C.

I found that right click on the part, select Document Properties from the menu, brings up a table, the first column is the part name. Doing this on a top level assembly the table shows all parts in the assembly.

@kjm  You mean "occurence properties"? Yeah, that will work too but @bweisenberger's method worked fine for me.

Hi @kjm

have You first pressed the F2 button?

This brings You to modify the text from pathfinder, which in my cas is the part name.

CTRL-C copies that to the clipboard.

Hi,

Or you can use Assembly Statistics table for this.
