Create a motor by non-linear path?

Solid Edge have options to create linear and rotational motors:

What about if we need a non-linear path, let's say for instance?

On this case i want that BLUE part drives over the path made on RED part.

 

 

I had some results applying a linear motor, but is the path had some direction bigger or equal to 90º to that direction that i select for the motor, my blue part just stop.

 

So, i cannot get the full travel over a non-linear path.

I am not close to this, but based on what I recall in the demo videos you:

 

1. Create a path constraint.

2. Go into the variable table and find the variable that defines the percent along path (0-1 probably)

3. Make a variable motor (the other option after rotary or linear) by picking this variable name

4. Let er rip
