Create cylinder with bottom surface merging with curved button surface

Hello all,

Have a query wherein am trying to create a cylinder from a height of 320mm, but while extruding, the bottom surface of cylinder has to merge with a curved button surface.

These buttons are created on a curved hub region. The button surface is parallel to Surface 1(explained in picture attached).

Cylinder bottom surface should also be parallel to Surface 1.

Cylinder bottom surface should first contact button surface and not Surface 1. (Clearance has to be maintained)

Please provide a suitable suggestion to address this problem.

Not sure I completely understand, but here's what I'd do:

  1. copy the surface of the button as a surface
  2. use the Extend surface to make it as big as you need it to be
  3. create a plane where the top of the cylinder should be
  4. sketch cylinder on plane
  5. extrude cylinder up to extended surface

If this doesn't get you what you want, I didn't understand what you are asking for.
