Creating a flexible pipe on imported geometry

Hi SE Users,

I want to create a flexible pipe. The issue is the model I have is an imported one, not created in Solid Edge. I do not have Xpress route add-in. I tried to approach it using the 3D sketch, but the sweep option does not highlight. I need to connect 2 points by a flexible pipe.

Please see the image attached.

Thanks a bunch.

Re: Creating a flexible pipe on imported geometry

I think you can do it using keypoint curve under the surface tab. you will need to have reference geometry in your part from the start and end points but then you can create a curve for the hose and sweep the hose along this curve.
