I am totally new at solid edge and my small company want me to set up SolidEdge built in data management.
The design process in my company is, I design and my boss check design . So how does this design check step work in data mangament and if i want Design checker person name and date on drawing template how do i do that.
I think the person that checks the design would manually put their details on the drawing, as far as I know automating this isn't included in Solid Edge Data Management. I'm happy to be proven wrong though!
I think a full blown solution like Team Center would be able to track approvals.
Maybe you could set up a workflow where your boss is the only person with the authority to release drawings & they do this after checking the design?
