Has anyone seen these dashed lines before? Our other designer noticed these on a couple of coordinate dimensions including a zero datum dimension:
I saw these the other day for the first time and was very surprised they printed.
I ultimately went into the drawing and moved the dimensions around a bit to make them go away and then located the dimension back in the position I desired.
It was a one time deal and I have not seen them since.
they look to be created due to a jog... but that doesnt make sense completly for the origin.
or amybe an alignment indicator of some sort... but again why are they same color as dim and printing?
They appear when you select a dimension, including the origin, without jogs. Normally they turn off when you deselect the dimension. However, in what seems like rare cases, they stay on and will print. As I said, I have only seen this happen once. It appears they have something to do with dimension alignment.
I've seen this issue also, and seems to be local to the file, so a Solid Edge, or even a system, reboot doesn't reset it.....until the location nudging happens, and the indicator line is then gone.
