Delete parts from a database

The window size is too small when trying to delete parts from the database with the Revision Manager.
It could be better if it's size will be customisable like in any other application!

Yes, there are a number of dialogs with locked window sizes and there have been a number of complaints.

Re: Delete parts from a database

Maybe you can go via the Website!?

The advantage of "delete from lib" is that before deleting a "Where used" is done and if the model is used you will get a hint!

With ST8 you will get more functions within the Website environment.  There you will have more technology to search and edit the parts. The "Where used" and the "Revision Manger" is also available

See page 9 of the attached PDF document. This can be a workaround for your request.

@Stefan_Mitsch

Is anyone who wishes to use "delete from library" necessarily using Sharepoint?

Your pdf could be interesting if I could read it. Do you know if there's an English version?

Hi Stefan,

thank you for the attachement and for your workaround but I think that unlocking the window is a small effort comparing to looking for another way to make it better.

But many thanks for your proposition.
