Hello,
I am probably asking for thing which was in discussion many times, but I wasn't able to solve it with solutions here. In oher words, I wasn't able to pick the know how ^_^.
I am trying to delete two slots and I tried "detach" of faces, delete the cutout from feature tree and nothing.
Hope my question is not too general, but if so, please don't hesitate to ask me for further information.
I am adding a screenshot in attachment.
Thank you in advance.
Have a nice day
Martin

Hi Martin,
without having the part itself available it is hard to say exactly what is the rason, but looing onto Your picture I would like to suggest selecteing all surfaces belonging to the slot using an area method.
Are You then able to deletre the slot?

Hi,
additional question:
How have You selected the slot surfaces?
For me the cylinders at the end are not selected, are they?

The best way to pick faces to delete is to use the selection manager. Press Shift+Spacebar then pick one of the faces of the slot and from the Sel. Manager menu, select Recognize - Cutout
Press Spacebar or right click to end the selection.
The slot will be picked properly and you can proceed to press Delete.

Yes, it was not selected. However, I didn't know the way how to choose them and delete them.
Thank you for support!
