Detail view boundary incomplete

When creating a detail view, the circle boundary is incomplete. If I nudge the first circle, it updates and completes the detail view boundary momentarily but eventually reverts to the incomplete circle again. Initially I thought it was because the first circle was off the drawing view, but that's not the case. Any thoughts?

Re: Detail view boundary incomplete

Hi,

You have to set it up in SE.

Pls open a draft file and Solid Edge App button -> Solid Edge Options -> Annotation tab and here toggle on "Show detail view borders".

Test it! Smiley Wink

Re: Detail view boundary incomplete

Hi,

I have boundary edges turned on in SE Options & in the Detail View properties - doesn't fix it.

Thanks

This will be a "default" from now and this is not valid back.

Try to create a new DV!

Or. Select DV Right mouse button and Properties here General tab and toggle on "Show detail view border" or something similar...

Re: Detail view boundary incomplete

Thanks Imics! I was confusing boundary edges with borders. That makes sense because the incomplete circle was the boundary edge of the visible parts. Show "borders" is the fix.
