Difficulty renewing liscense

Not applicable

My renewal notice is down to 15 days. I unzip, then extract the file to C:\Program
Files\Solid Edge 2D Drafting V20/program
I double checked and the file is named SELicense.dat For some reason the file type
is NeroMediaPlayer media file. In the properties screen I changed it to open with
EditPadLite, but it still says it's a Nero file.
None of this seemed to help, and I still get the expiration notice.
Any suggestions?

Sam,
Go to "C:\Program Files\Solid Edge 2D Drafting V20\program".
Double click on the "SELicense.dat" file.
DO NOT CHANGE OR SAVE THIS FILE. 2D Drafting will not run if you modify the
file.
Click on OpenWith.
Click on "Select the program from a list." Click on OK.
Click on "Notepad". Click on OK.
There is a date on the first line in the file. If you extracted it to the
correct location, the date will be 30-apr-2010.
Close and do not save the file.
What was the date? If it has 31-Oct-2008, it is the original file and you
did not extract it properly.

Rick B.

Oops. Never mind. I just upgraded to the newest version.
