Dimension not updating

I'm having trouble getting a dimension to update. Attached pics show thread length in model (28.6) and in drawing (27.8). Drawing is updated, but for some reason the dimension stays different. What is going on???

Hard to tell. Why don't you upload them?

Close SE, restart and update the view.

Sometimes this solves this kind of problems.

Als a "hard update" works: Press Ctrl key while clicking on the update button.

I was able to fix it, but don't know if this is normal or a glitch:

The cause of this is the chamfer that was added to the edge of the thread. I deleted the thread, recreated it referencing from the non-machined end of the shaft and then added the chamfer. Before that the dimension in the drawing would give the length of thread without the chamfer even though the dimline included the chamfer. To me that looks like a glitch?!
