I saw something strange in ST7 draft.
When I place a new view which I select from the View Wizard and Select Attachment it place the view not in the drawn position but in the assemblie position. This was different in ST6.
The other thing, when I copy paste the title block text from one sheet to another it stick to my mouse and not places in the same position. Also different than ST6.
Can this be changed in the register, options or whatever?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If I'm not mistaken, the Select Attachment is new for ST7 and will place the view in the same orientation as an existing view of that assembly. You should be able to add more and/or change the view orientation in the Quick Bar options.
Here is the option for pasting:
This hapend when You have unchecked "Create drawing view independent of assembly" box at first site of Creator.
If you open Paste command on Ribbon bar, you can choose from "paste mode" what you need for...
Don't need to modify Solid Edge options!
When doing a copy/paste the pasted item follows the mouse cursor now (ST6, too). If you press the shift key it will jump to its original location and then left click anywhere and it will paste to the original spot.
In ST6 it was placed directly on it's position. Maby there was a default setting?
But now I know the new work flow.
