I know in the past (last time I tried it was with ST3 or something) than when you move a part with the Drag Component and set the option for Detect collisions the part should stop moving when a collision is detected, ofcoarse the settings must be set correct. Now I try it and no stop or sound.
See the video for the settings and components.
For some reason it does not work at this moment. Working with ST8 MP6.
Could any of you test if you have the same thing happen?
If you cannot reproduce it than it should be a model think.
Can it happen that a sweep will not work?
Could you try it on your system with this part?
I tried with that part and a simple part I created and it still works as expected on my system. Is it specific to that assembly on your system? If so, you may want to log an IR so we can take a look at it.
Good tip. For some reason I have to close SE completly before I can drag the component before it detects anything. Weird but it keeps working after the reboot of SE.
I am facing this issue with ST9
please see attached video.
Would you please tell me a tip how to get this detection workable ?
All parts in the Asy are Active.
