Export a single .dft sheet to dxf

Pioneer

I am trying to export a single sheet from a .dft file with multiple sheets, to a .dxf file so I can send it to a vendor without giving unrelated design information. I can't seem to find the option that allows me to export just the one sheet. I thought this was possible in the past?

thanks!

Yeah... it seems to be gone in ST9. Not sure what happened. Maybe it's just the user!

Thanks for checking this out.

Just to walk through the steps:

1) I am start in the draft environment on the sheet I wish to translate,

2) go to the "save as" menu and "save as translated"

3) At this point I don't see the same menu as you so I believe I am not using the correct commands.

Thanks,

John

You should click on the left side in the Save as translated dialog "Options"

Just as a further point, if I click on the options, I don't get the translation wizard popup menu. So that's leading me to believe I'm going down the wrong path.

What happens when you click on the options button?

Do you use an laptop?

Sometimes it can happen, that the dialogs are hidden or on an Screen which is not connected anymore.

Try this out:

- shutdown Solid Edge

- run regedit

- expand HKCU\Software\Unigraphics\Solutions\Solid Edge\Version 100\UI
- delete this "UI" node
restart Solid Edge
