Exporting colors in a .dxf file

Not applicable
I was able to export a .dxf file using the 'Save as Translated' command along with the 'Options' menus. Everything looks great with the exception that I don't have any colors. I know that there must be a setting that I have overlooked. Any help would be welcome.

Thank
Rich

On the options page about color mapping, turn off the option to do color to width mapping.

I already have colors in my .dft file and all of the lines are the same width. I am just trying to keep the colors that I already have. thanks Rich

Exactly, but in order to export them to DXF you must uncheck that option because the default is "checked" and it will not export colors if checked, it exports differing width lines all one color (the default color for all line widths in ACAD is 7)...

I looked at your reply again. I see that I had to 'uncheck' that box. It worked great! Thanks
