I uploaded a new build. Hope it fixes it.

I saved my se file as x_t and read it back in.

The faces have colors but the macro will not see them.

There is no Style property on the faces anymore.

I don't know where it gets the color from.

When I import models that contains colors I always struggle to keep them.

I wonder where the face color are stored.

A great tool would be to get that colors and store them in facestyles

This is the macro that I would develop if I had more time.

This is probably a dumb question but how do you use it?

Attached is the list of files I end up with.

See if this is enough to go by to get it running.

OK, here's an example that illustrates a pet peeve. Why the heck are there still dialog boxes that are fixed in height and width so you can't see the full file names? Is this a DOS legacy or something.

So do I need both exes?

I must be doing something wrong. I have a part open and when I click the macro command a wheel spins for a couple of seconds and nothing. The prompt bar says "run macro" but when I move the cursor it reverts to the default "select geometry..." prompt.

After you click the button it should display "Position mouse over face" in the prompt bar.
You can also run from Application button>Run Macro.
Make sure you have the zip ending in V2.zip

I do have V2. Running from app button same thing. No joy. Restart SE or reboot?
