Hello everyone,
I've a problem on the transformation of a sheet metal, when I try to make the trasform the imported file gives me the error message "The input model contains non-sheet metal faces That must be removed before transforming"
I tried to create a surface and applicargli thick but did not work.
Anyone have any ideas to resolve the situation
Alex

I don't know if this is optimal but my workflow is:
- switch to sheet metal
- switch to ordered
- thin part to sheet metal
- flatten

Hi Alex,
switch to ordered and you will find the "part to sheet metal" command under the Tools tab. Pick the first bending edge and choose the direction of the material. Pick the edge of next adjoining bend or tab. Afterwards you can move the ordered feature "convert to sheet metal" to synchronous if you want. Please look at the video, good luck!

The part to sheet metal command needs a one-step, in-command undo because if you pick the wrong thing you have to start over again.
