How do I create a foreshortened radial dimension that looks like this? I see the jog menu pick but I can't figure out how to shorten it enough. I've attached the draft file.

Hi @David_McMahon,
Mine seems to place OK [if my pic below, is what you want to do]......what seems to be not working for you? There are edit points that you can manipulate after placement also.

When I turn on the jog option, it inserts the jog but the center point of the radius is off of the drawing and I can't shorten it to look like what you did. How do you move the radius center point?

This is all I did....hope it helps.

Hi,
Yes this could be reproduced here too!
Once started with a full radius dimension, changing it afterwards makes it impossible to shorten the dimension line backwards from the center.
Length is fixed to roiginal.
Seems to be a bug?

Ah yes, modifying a full radius dimension to be a "shortened" jogged one is different....& as Wolfgang says, this seems to be a bug.
Still, it's not a total deal breaker to simply delete the unwanted dim, and create the jogged radius dim again to achieve the desired result.

Hi,
same will be true for the shortend radius dimension even if it was created shorted.
You can not change the length of the dimension line.
It always is keeping the line length.

Hi,
according to GTAC in ST8 it is a bug. It is fixed in ST9.

Thanks to Sean for the workaround and everyone else that replied to this.
