Just a friendly reminder...

  • If you post a question and you recieve an answer that resolves it, mark the best answer as the "Solution".  Doing this marks the topic as resolved so that those who answer questions can skip it and those looking for answers can find it.
  • It is also a nice jesture to give folks who provide correct answers, good tips, or cool content a "Kudo".

Completely agree!

Another little effort users can take is to add 'Message Tags' to each reply or post, which helps in listing the post in future when searching for existing solutions.

They make the instant result search faster because the backend doesn't have to search all contents of all posts. This is also a little community building activity even if you are not really posting answers or solutions.

Ironic that you didn't tag yours. Or did you?

Bruce: my previous post remains un-edited. So you can see, the tags were there.

Oh, yeah. Not being a user of tags (yet) I didn't know what I was looking for. Sorry, dude.

When I get the email "Did you get the answer you needed" and the answer is no, what is one supposed to do? That's when I call GTAC or give up and move on to something else.
