Hello there,

I hope i am in right Forum for this question.

I am using Solid Edge ST7 and not really used to it.

I started with the contour flap and want to add a single flap.

Now the problem is - How can i make them "together".

Will add 2 pictures for an example. (Should look like the 2nd picture)

I hope someone can help me quite fast. appreciate it a lot.

Best regards,

Ramon

Your second picture doesn't seem to represent a sheet metal part so I wonder why you are using the sheet metal environment.

You can make your part in sheet metal, weld it and add a fillet.

Is there no easy solution - like saying -> Left wall connect Right wall and add a Fase ?

I don't know but I think I'd start with a part. Make a block of the overall, draft on two sides, thin wall it, add the two flanges, a cutout and then add fillets.

OK. Seems like it's piling on more complexity.

This is not possible in the Sheet metal environment as this is not possible in realy life, you would be better off doing it in part then thinwall command maybe.

What are you making and out of what matrerial.

Some kind of brass welded housing? or just a thermoplastic injection moulded cover?
