Going from ST9 to ST10
When I start, the licensing popup says "Click here to obtain a free update...."
I click, but the page it goes to has a 500: Internal Server Error message.
Tried going to the GTAC website instead, signed in with WebKey and select License Management>Licenses but it just keeps returning to the GTAC page.
I just went to GTAC - License page just to see if it was working for me and it appears so. I'd suggest calling GTAC. they should be able to email you a license rather quickly. 800-955-0000
when we are talking about the Solid Edge 2D version ST10, then I thought that this is completely free and if there is no license available, the license wizzard should offer to use a free 2D version which also is the 3D viewer.
So if You do not have any licensse file in Your preference folder, than the wizzard should do the rest for You atuomatically.
Just by chance I tried the "3D Viewer" option and it started... I thought it would be in a read-only mode but it appears to be working as it did in ST9.
