Help with 3D pdf needed!

I'm trying to save a section view of an assembly as 3d pdf and some parts aren't shown.

They all solid bodies (not surfaces), activated, shown components (bodies and surfaces).

Another file was saved fine. Any ideas?

Try setting the Options in the Save PDF dialog to More detail

I experimented with this setting with a sample assembly and noted SE compromises on some features when set to Less detail, though no components were left out altogether, as in your case.

No, it is not it. We used another engineer's computer to save those files as 3D pdfs and it worked out.

Can you copy the good PDF from other computer to your computer where it is not working and check if all components are still visible ?

Yes, it's all visible on my computer. I guess it is pdf save issue.

Check for model faults with Geometry Inspector.

Does it work without without the section?

Yes, it works without section view. One of the parts has small engravings that come out as a fault. It shouldn't be a problem because another assembly with the same part saves fine.

I would still fix the model.

Could be as easy as clicking the Heal Body Faults on the Geometry Inspector.

Or try the Inspect->Optimize.

Could be a combination of the geometry problem and the section view.
