Holes Database

Hi guys,

We use ACME Thread in some of our projects.

With ST5, it was easy to add the data in the TXT file.

But with the Excel file in ST7, I add lines but I can't find these new features I create in the holes option menu.

Anyone know how to solve this issue?

I already tried the converter and no... It is not working

Thanks for your time,

Alex

Re: Holes Database

Hi Alexandre,

Attached, you will find my ANSI Inch.xlsx file with added ACME thread (at the bottom of the tab "Threaded").

(L'onglet "filetage" je crois pour le fichier en français).

It works fine for me.

Don't know if this is required for Solid Edge to re-read the file but usually, when I modify holes database .xlsx files, I close and restart Solid Edge just to be sure.

I am fairly sure that after any change to the database files the hole command must be restarted for the file to be re-read.  It should not be necessary to restart Solid Edge.
