How can I design M18x1.5mm thread inside a nut ?

I used thread command but when I 3d print the part threads wasn't there. I think the thread command is the show there will be a thread on design. how can I practically draw a thread  inside a nut  ? Any tutorial or any hints are welcomed Smiley Happy

I downloaded the profile and copy paste into the sketch like in the tutorial. However when I try to do the helix, it says profile is open, multiple profiles drawn and can not execute the command. Two lines on the right and left side of the triangle are the open profiles.

This is the closest thing i get for the helix when I click on ADD helix.   and second picture is when I click on CUT HELIX command. I wonder if the hole definition I put has any effect on the gap between the nut and the helixhelix.pnghelix 2.png
