How can we do lancing operation in sheet metal?

Tried using surfacing but still facing some error. But it is required to do in sheet metal environment only.

You can use the Louver or possibly create an Emboss. If you're trying to do something as shown in the images you provided, you will have the formed feature on top of bends, which will complicate things.

 

The Emboss requires a tool body to create the emboss. The Emboss button will be grayed out unless you have a second body to use as the tool.

Hi,

 

Good suggestions from @MLombard & @Kanwulf. I think the big challenge is that lancing lies on bend. In this case I suggest using surface modeling with some tricks.
