I recently created some torsion springs but I did them on my own vs. using Solid Edge's library. Basically, I created a cylinder to represent the body and then made some legs using round protrusions, In my case, they were 90° springs in both left and right hand versions. Also, I purchase the springs, then modifythem by bending the legs. I created a family of parts for the unmodified spring, deflected spring and modified spring. It work's pretty well. If you don't want to go the FOP route, you could probably do a part copy of your master spring, then use move faces in ordered to accomplish a similar task.
