Hi Edgers,
I am looking for information how to lock the assembly against any modifications.
I know that in the File Properties there is a tab Status, but do not know which option is related to this?
Edited:
I set Released to my Assembly and it is unable to modify - which is fine.
Can you tell me also how to un-release it to the previous situation?
thank you,
Arek

Hi @arekkul
when a document has a released status, this would mean, that - with normal methods - there can not be changed anything.
You can revise it to a new revision number, You can copy it to a new document, etc., but You can not change anything within that file.
I have recommended the use of LifeCycle status for years now.
This was/is the easiset/fastet and cheapest method to prevent parts from changes, even by Yourself and by accident.

There is a freeware program StatusChanger available which will allow you to change the Solid Edge file status:
http://barhamsoftware.com/SE_Tools/index.htm
Note: In order to make this tool work with ST10 you must also install the ST10 View & Markup package.
Note: This is *not* a Siemens PLM tool so use at your own risk/unsupported.
