How to install ISO support?

The tutorial uses ISO standard, and I had only installed ANSI.  When I tried to add ISO by re-installing I get a message that iso.cab is not available.  I found it where the message said it didn't exist, but it had 0 bytes.  Is there a tutorial for how to install SolidEdge so you can use the tutorial?

SE installs with both iso and ansi templates regardless of which you set as default.

under file open, select the more tab and you will see all the template standards.

If I click the folder at the top left, a screen labeled Open File appears, but with no tabs at all. I'm not sure that is what I want anyway, The tutorial does not start with opening a file, it starts drawing assuming I am already in ISO mode, with dimensions in mm.

Hi there,

You need to select the "New" button, then there is a "More" tab for alternate from the installed default template selection.

Thanks, it's a little frustrating to get stuck at the first step of the first tutorial!

DGraham,

See this short video to explain the ways we can start a new file and manage our templates. I hope you find it helpful: http://screencast.com/t/ZD3XvcJehf6
